— Chapter 02 / The Office

An editorial
approach to real estate.

Real Day Estate was founded in 2014 in Mayfair as an antidote to the "shop window" of mainstream property listings. We work for buyers and sellers who do not wish to advertise.

Our office is small by design — twelve associates across London, New York, Milan and Singapore, each with a specialism (heritage, modern, coastal, urban) and a private register. We never auction, never broker speculation, and never list publicly without consent.

Beyond the transaction.

What our clients ask of us, in confidence — and what we provide, without subcontract.

N°01

Private Acquisition

We hunt off-market on your behalf — a single point of contact, twelve months a year, on a clear retainer. No commission games, no double agency.

N°02

Discreet Disposal

We sell without advertising. Your home is shown only to vetted buyers we already know — never on a portal, never to a "tour".

N°03

Cross-Border Advisory

Tax, structure, residency and trust counsel via our network of partners — co-ordinated through one office, billed transparently.

N°04

Heritage & Restoration

For listed properties: we project-manage restoration with conservation architects, artisans and craft consultants we have used for years.

N°05

Estate Stewardship

For owners who travel: we keep your home running — staff, security, gardens, vendors, accounts — and report monthly with photographs.

N°06

Property Provenance

An archival service for sellers and buyers: we research title chains, architects, owners, awards and press — packaged into a bound monograph.

They sold our family villa without ever publishing a single photograph. The process took eleven months and one introduction.

— Chapter 04 / Editorial Journal

From the office.

Reflections on the markets we work in, the houses we love, and the people who quietly built them.

Essay · 14 min read

The slow undoing of the Tuscan villa market

For thirty years the supply was bottomless. We argue, gently, that the era of casual restoration is now ending — and what that means for the next decade of buyers.
